Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Marana, AZ
Job Description

This full-time, full-school-year contract position offers the opportunity to work as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist across three high school sites. You'll primarily serve a caseload of around 60–70 students with a range of needs—most students are based at one central campus, with the remainder at two additional locations. The caseload includes individuals with mild to severe disabilities, from articulation challenges to those in adaptive cluster and ASD programs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active standard certification for practicing in educational settings
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (required prior to start)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with high school populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage itinerant duties and collaborate effectively with multiple school teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with diverse abilities
- Work closely with staff and families to support each student’s IEP goals
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate caseload documentation
- Travel between assigned high school sites as needed throughout the week
- Provide consultation and support to educators on best practices in communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an essential member of the multidisciplinary team
