Description Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs supporting a variety of manufacturing processes including EDM, milling, and jig grinding operations. Create CNC programs for precision 3-axis milling applications involving hardened tool steel components. Generate and maintain tooling inspection documentation and manufacturing reports to ensure quality and process consistency. Develop prototype manufacturing routings, process documentation, and control plans to support new product initiatives. Program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain 3D printing equipment as part of prototype and manufacturing support activities. Collaborate with engineering teams to create and update technical product drawings and manufacturing documentation. Manage drawing files and engineering documentation within a Product Data Management (PDM) environment. Support tooling, fixture, and gage manufacturing activities through operation of tool room equipment when required. Continuously identify opportunities to improve programming efficiency, machining performance, and manufacturing processes. Profile Minimum of five years of machining experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, tool wear compensation, and part inspection activities. Strong understanding of CNC programming principles and machining processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation. Working knowledge of GD&T principles and dimensional inspection requirements. Familiarity with G-Code and M-Code programming. Experience using CAD software is advantageous. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications. Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities may shift regularly. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to working with engineering and production teams.
