Bon Secours Neurology Clinic, Westchester is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of Neurology experience, to support our growing inpatient consult service and ambulatory follow-up clinic. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working collaboratively with a team of neurologists and advanced practice clinicians.

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Call: Not required

    Daily Volume: 8–10 patients per day

    • \n
  • \n

    Patient Population: Adults (18+)

    • \n
  • \n

    Split: Half-day inpatient consult service; half-day ambulatory clinic (with potential for remote/MyChart follow-ups)

  • \n

    Telemedicine: Some clinic time allocated to virtual visits

    • \n
Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • \n

    Support inpatient neurology consult service (approximately half-day daily)

    • \n
  • \n

    Conduct hospital follow-up and routine outpatient neurology visits

    • \n
  • \n

    Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams

    • \n
  • \n

    Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising neurologists

    • \n
  • \n

    Order medications and treatments in accordance with Virginia prescriptive authority

    • \n
  • \n

    Respond to patient calls and MyChart messages

    • \n
  • \n

    Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care

    • \n
  • \n

    Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives

    • \n
  • \n

    Exercise independent clinical judgment consistent with training and scope of practice

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Licensed NP (Family NP or Adult Geriatric Acute Care NP) or Physician Assistant

    • \n
  • \n

    Minimum 2 years of neurology experience required

    • \n
  • \n

    BLS and ACLS certification required

    • \n
  • \n

    Eligible for Virginia licensure

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong clinical judgment and ability to adhere to established treatment plans while demonstrating critical thinking

    • \n
