A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available at a retail location in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work schedule featuring variable day and afternoon shifts with 10 to 12-hour shifts (ranging from 9am to 9pm) totaling 62 hours bi-weekly. The ideal candidate will begin as soon as possible and have strong leadership and pharmacy management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate business strategies.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business, promote script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Partner with the District Manager and staff to control inventory, monitor weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet demand.
  • Align pharmacy performance with key department metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise and manage pharmacy associates, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized work environment.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty.
  • Communicate with physicians and use reference materials to manage prescriptions and resolve concerns.
  • Oversee ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred
