Key Requirements:
- At least one year of experience working in a Special Education (SPED) classroom
- Willingness to accept sub shifts as needed
- Comfortable with varying caseloads and student needs
- Ability to commute reliably to the Simi Valley, CA area
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Step into substitute paraprofessional assignments across various campus settings in Simi Valley
- Support students with individualized needs as directed by teacher or administration
- Assist with classroom management, organization, and student engagement
- Provide academic and behavioral support under the supervision of classroom teachers and specialists
- Adapt quickly to different routines and instructional approaches within diverse classrooms
