Special Education Teacher in Pauma Valley, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid California Educational Specialist credential (Mild/Moderate)
• Previous experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide a nurturing environment that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional development
