Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for different ages and learning needs
- Passion for collaborative teamwork and supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to facilitate student progress
- Document progress, maintain accurate case records, and participate in student support meetings
- Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding communication strategies
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based therapy services
