Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving K-12 students for the full 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, balancing your expertise between assessment and itinerant physical therapy services. Work closely with a diverse student population, including opportunities to support both English- and Spanish-speaking learners. Your contributions will help shape student growth and success across multiple campuses in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts (MA) required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
- Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload
- Strong assessment, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet students’ unique needs
- Collaborative and flexible approach within interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality physical therapy assessments to students of varying ages and abilities
- Deliver direct, itinerant PT services as outlined in student IEPs
- Balance your schedule between 50% testing and 50% direct student services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
