Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with a valid state credential
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Comfort with adapting therapy plans to suit individual student needs
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work independently within a team-oriented setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to students’ mobility, motor skills, and functional independence needs
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEPs and student progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into the educational environment
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote physical development within school routines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
