Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with disabilities by bringing your passion and expertise to two unique contract opportunities supporting learners in specialized settings. Full-time positions are available, working with middle school and elementary students within dedicated programs for those with significant needs and cognitive or developmental delays.
Opportunities include:
Middle School Special Education: Work with students (grades 6-8) in a Setting 4 program supporting individuals primarily identified with developmental cognitive delays. You’ll collaborate with paraprofessionals, adapt lessons, support students with wheelchairs, and address mild behavioral needs in a compassionate, structured environment.
Elementary Special Education: Serve as a resource for a caseload of 6-9 students in a Setting 3 program for elementary learners with ASD or DCD. Develop individualized educational plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and work closely with families and specialists to maximize student growth and success.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (please provide your license number with your application)
- Experience supporting students with developmental or cognitive disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with assistive technology and working with students who utilize mobility devices is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to tailor instruction and manage diverse classroom needs
- References and updated resume required for submission
- Commitment to the full contract period: late August 2026 through June 2027
Additional Details:
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hrs/week)

- Orientation/training dates to be confirmed prior to school start
