Occupational Therapist School Setting in Jaffrey, NH

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students by providing expert occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 school year. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, in a single elementary school setting, guiding young learners toward greater independence and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough assessments of students’ functional physical development and self-regulation, equipping them with essential tools to thrive in the classroom.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address diverse needs and support appropriate placement within the school environment.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure each child receives the interventions necessary for success.
• Identify environmental and learning barriers, then offer actionable recommendations to enhance accessibility and participation for all students.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to comply with best practices and state guidelines.
• Advocate for student progress and help create an inclusive school community.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy License in good standing.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
• Strong assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
