Emergency Medicine, Opportunity at Freestanding Emergency Room (FSER) on Gulf Coast | HCA Florida We

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians and Emergency Medicine Nocturnists to join our team at HCA Florida West Fort Myers Emergency, a modern Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) serving the rapidly growing Fort Myers community.

We are seeking physicians who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM). We will also consider Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with significant Emergency Department experience. Urgent Care experience alone does not meet the qualifications for this position.

• Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
\n
• Avg Daily Volume: Approx. 20 patients per day
\n
• Physician Coverage: 24 hours [7a-7p, 7p-7a]; no APP coverage
\n
• EMR: Meditech
\n
• Sign-on Bonus: For full-time physicians (W-2 or 1099)
\n
• Full-Time Commitment: 144 hours/month (12 shifts)
\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferred.
\n
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with substantial Emergency Department experience will also be considered.
\n
• Urgent Care experience alone does not meet the qualifications for this position.
\n
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
\n
