Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director – Williamsport, PA

\n

*$40,000 signing bonus / $45,000 Long-term Commitment Bonus

We are seeking a dynamic ManagingVeterinarian/Medical Director to lead a collaborative team at TheAnimal Hospital on the Golden Strip in Williamsport, PA. This role offers jointownership potential but is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership, ensuring high-quality care and fostering teamwork.
    • \n
  • Partner with the Hospital Manager to achieve hospital growth and financial success.
    • \n
  • Oversee medical protocols, staff performance, training, and mentorship, including new graduate support.
    • \n
  • Manage financials, including budgets, revenue, and expenses, in collaboration with the Hospital Manager.
    • \n
  • Drive community involvement, marketing, and growth initiatives.
    • \n
As the Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director at The AnimalHospital on the Golden Strip, you will be supported by 1 part-time associateDVM and consistent relief veterinarians to ensure coverage and continuity ofcare, alongside a team of 10 support staff, including technicians, veterinaryassistants, receptionists, and kennel attendants.\n

This brand-new state-of-the-art facility hosts six examrooms, enclosed surgery and dental suites, a large treatment room, privatedoctors' office, and boarding for 40 pets. The practice also has a fullin-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound and therapeutic laser services.

Compensation:

  • Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000
    • \n
  • Management bonus tied to practice performance
    • \n
  • Generous $40,000 signing bonus + $45,000 Long-Term Commitment Bonus. We are invested in veterinarians who choose to build their careers with us. Enjoy at $45,000 retention package, paid in three substantial $15,000 milestone bonuses throughout your tenure.

  • DVM or VMD with a valid Pennsylvania license.
