Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based Occupational Therapist working across multiple sites within a dynamic district near New Britain, CT. This full-time role offers the opportunity to impact students’ lives for the fall term, supporting students in their educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
- Flexibility to serve multiple school sites as needed across the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students in reaching their academic and functional goals
- Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student success
- Travel to various schools within the district as part of your weekly responsibility (35 hours per week)
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress
