Open Positions:
- (3) Full-time roles (37.5 hours/week): Elementary Resource, Junior High Resource, and Junior High Support Center
- (1) Part-time role (0.8 FTE, 30 hours/week): Elementary Resource Teacher
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education Teaching
- Experience working within school resource or support center programs
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to modify curriculum and differentiate instruction for varying learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and students
- Dedicated, flexible, and solution-oriented professional approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored instruction for students with a variety of learning needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with the school team and families
- Utilize progress monitoring tools to assess student achievement and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers to foster an inclusive learning community
- Offer academic and behavioral support within resource and support center settings
- Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and family conferences
