Job Responsibilities \n
\n
\nThis Shipping & Receiving Specialist position is a hands-on role supporting both the warehouse and manufacturing departments. A typical day includes receiving incoming shipments, preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. When shipping activity slows, you'll assist production employees on the shop floor with material handling and basic manufacturing support.\n

\n Responsibilities include:
\n
\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments\n
\nLoad and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift\n
\nPull, stage, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment\n
\nGenerate shipping labels, packing slips, and complete shipping paperwork\n
\nCoordinate freight pickups and deliveries\n
\nWrap, label, and build pallets for shipment\n
\nMaintain inventory of shipping supplies\n
\nEnter shipping and receiving information into the company computer system\n
\nAssist production employees with shop floor duties as needed\n
\nUse hand and power tools safely\n
\nRead and follow work orders and production instructions\n
\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\n
\n
Required Qualifications \n
\nMust be able to accurately read a tape measure up to 1/32" (Required and will be tested)\n
\n1-2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience preferred\n
\nSit-down forklift experience\n
\nExperience using hand and power tools\n
\nBasic computer skills\n
\nAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment\n
\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.\n
\nTeam-oriented with a strong work ethic\n
\nWork Environment\n

\nThis is a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer of environmental test chambers and metal finishing equipment. Employees work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility alongside a small team of 10-15 people. The culture is respectful, hands-on, and team-focused, with everyone willing to help where needed.\n
