Call Schedule:
Every fourth night and every fourth weekend alongside current physicians. Residents will handle primary night calls and weekend duties.

Immigration Considerations:
We welcome J1 Waiver and H-1B candidates for positions starting in 2027 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a collegial team of two board-certified otolaryngologists and one board-eligible otolaryngologist.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of ENT conditions, such as ear infections, hearing impairments, sinusitis, allergies, voice issues, and sleep apnea.
• Conduct surgical interventions related to ENT, including tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, septoplasties, and ear tube placements.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring residents from the ACGME accredited Otolaryngology residency program at UPMC Hamot, which includes five residents (who take primary night calls and weekend shifts).
• Utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record system throughout the health network.
• Benefit from a strong primary care referral network that ensures steady patient volume and continuity of care.
• Work in nearby regional clinics as required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from a recognized medical institution.
• Completion of an accredited ENT residency program.
• American Board Eligible or Certified in Otolaryngology.
• Capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and obtain necessary credentials.
• DEA certification.
