The Lead Electrician will be responsible for leading maintenance and electrical troubleshooting efforts while supporting the repair, maintenance, and improvement of plant equipment and automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and industrial automation knowledge, along with proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
This role is a hands-on leadership position that will oversee maintenance activities, assist with troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and help develop and support maintenance team members.

Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday / 6:30am-2:45pm
Job Duties:
- Lead and support maintenance technicians in daily electrical and automation troubleshooting activities
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade plant electrical systems
- Work with PLCs, programmable controllers, VFDs, PWM drives, servo motors, and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Install, modify, adjust, and repair electrical components and controls
- Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, and other automation systems
- Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Follow all plant safety procedures and report potential hazards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
Requirements:
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, or automation experience OR Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Maintenance Electrician, Mechatronics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of leadership, supervisory, lead technician, or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques
- Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems preferred
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Motoman robotics preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
