AdventHealth for Children Pediatric ENT seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their new Pediatric ENT program.
\nGeneral Summary:
\n- \n
- The NP or PA assists the assigned staff attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care. \n
- The practice will involve care and management of patients requiring or consultation for ENT-related diagnoses. \n
- Care will include performing clinic assessments, admission, history and physicals, daily plan of care, and some minor procedures. \n
- Practitioner will manage the inpatient course in collaboration with the attending. \n
- Practitioner will coordinate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers and clinic staff. \n
- Practitioner will provide emergency room and hospital consultations. \n
- Practitioners will provide care to ambulatory/ patients when needed in coordination with ambulatory nursing staff. \n
Schedule Details:

- Campus Covered: AdventHealth Orlando \n
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm; Friday 8am to 2pm \n
- Call rotation required \n
- Rotating holiday call \n
Required Education/Experience:
\n- \n
- Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies \n
- 3+ years Pediatric ENT experience required \n
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
\n- \n
- Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license \n
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other national recognized certification organization \n
- Current BLS and ACLS \n
