Required Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics or related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of prior experience teaching Mathematics at the high school level.
  • Demonstrated success educating students in Algebra I and Geometry courses.
  • Excellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and foster positive learning environments for diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective and engaging instruction in Algebra I and Geometry for 9th and 10th grade learners.
  • Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, tailoring activities to meet varying student needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance instruction and participate in professional development.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom while communicating proactively with students and families.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials as needed to accommodate all learning styles and abilities.
