Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract occupational therapist in a dynamic educational environment near Bothell, WA. This opportunity offers a chance to collaborate with a diverse team, working primarily with elementary-aged children and one middle school population. With three openings available, you can select from assignments that fit your schedule and interests, each serving around 36 students.
Current openings:
- Full-time OT (1.0 FTE): 8/28 – 12/18
- Part-time OT (0.6 FTE): 10/10 – 3/1
- Part-time OT (0.6 FTE): 8/27 – 1/2
Key qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Strong collaborative skills for teaming with educators, parents, and support staff
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and therapy planning
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing student needs
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct intervention services targeting functional and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, deliver progress reports, and maintain thorough records
- Support students’ sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs within school environments
