Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Manage pharmacy operations at a busy retail location in Binghamton, NY, as a full-time Pharmacy Manager. This direct hire role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate company strategies.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
  • Drive business growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.
  • Align department performance with key measurable metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving customer concerns.
  • Supervise and train pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing performance and discipline as needed.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and compliance standards.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
  • Keep the pharmacy organized and ensure continuous staff development and labor cost control.
  • Prioritize and complete vital pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current New York State Pharmacist License.
