Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager in Grove City, OH
Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager to lead operations in a home infusion setting. This role requires a dynamic professional who can oversee all aspects of pharmacy management, ensuring safe, effective home-based intravenous therapies, and fostering a high-performing team.
Location: Grove City, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call duties
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
- Manage recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Ensure strict compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines
- Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Drive branch profitability through budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous performance improvements
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Ohio pharmacist license
- 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience, preferably in home infusion or acute care pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy staff, including training and orientation
- Proficiency with CPR+ and CareTend systems is highly preferred
