1:1 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Caldwell, Idaho

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a 1:1 Registered Behavior Technician or experienced paraprofessional with strong behavior skills. This full-time role begins in August and spans the full school year, delivering impactful support to children in an engaging educational setting.

Successful candidates will work closely with students in a one-on-one capacity, helping them reach their full potential by implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting their daily learning experience. Your work will play a vital role in shaping their growth and success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification or equivalent experience as a paraprofessional with a background in behavioral interventions
• Familiarity with implementing individualized education and behavior intervention plans
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with young learners, teachers, and families
• Patience, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude essential
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 support to elementary students, guiding them through classroom routines and behavioral expectations
• Collaborate with special education teams to implement strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Collect data and document student progress in accordance with established behavior plans
• Model positive behavior and support the social-emotional development of students
• Assist with classroom activities and adapt materials as needed to promote student engagement
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
