Fellowship-Trained Hip & Knee Total Joint Replacement Orthopedic Surgeon

\nMercy Health, the largest healthcare system in Ohio and ranked among the top 20% of health systems nationally for clinical quality and efficiency, is seeking a fellowship-trained Hip & Knee Total Joint Replacement Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a high-volume ambulatory orthopedic practice with a strong internal referral network and expand services across Northwest Ohio.
\nOpportunity Highlights:

- Develop a thriving ambulatory orthopedic practice with a built-in referral base. \n
- Perform a mix of primary and revision total joint replacements (hip & knee), with some general orthopedic cases to supplement volume. \n
- Provide at least 7 days of call coverage per month at a community-based Mercy Health hospital. \n
- Engage in teaching as Orthopedic Clinical Faculty, mentoring residents through hands-on training, didactic education, and multidisciplinary conferences. \n
- Collaborate with an established inpatient and outpatient total joint replacement program featuring: \n
- Multidisciplinary team led by Orthopedic Coordinators \n
- 70% same-day discharge (SDD) rate for outpatient total joint replacements \n
- Preoperative total joint replacement class \n
- Patient IQ platform for patient-reported outcomes, engagement, and research \n
- Dedicated Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Physical Therapy team \n
- Robust TJR supply chain partners ensuring the best patient outcomes. \n

- Orthopedic residency program with clinical and research infrastructure \n
- Outpatient PM&R and Pain Management services \n
- Inpatient Rehab Unit staffed by Mercy Health physiatrists. \n

Qualifications:
\n- \n
- MD or DO from an accredited institution. \n
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery \n
- Fellowship-trained in Hip & Knee Total Joint Replacement \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills \n
- Passion for teaching and patient-centered care \n
