\nTHE WORK
\nAs a Database Engineer - Mid Level ), you will be required to:
\nContribute to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions
\nInnovate RF signal processing applications
\nProvides technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis
\nDevelop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software
\nProject long-range requirements for database administration and design
\nDevelop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls
\nDevelop requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems)
\nAssist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts
\nTranslate a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and builds complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies

\nBasic Qualifications:
\no Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
\no Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases to include but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, Mongo and Redis. Experience with SQL and the associated tools (SQL Developer, etc…)
\no Experience developing long and short-term requirements for database administration and design
\nDesired Skills:
\no Experience with Elasticsearch

\nAbility to Work Remotely:
\nOnsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
\nWork Schedules:
\nLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
\nSchedule for this Position:
\n9x80 every other Friday off
\nPay Rate:
\nThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
\nBenefits offered:

\n(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
\nThis position is incentive plan eligible.
