Human Resources Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)

Location: City of Industry, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: $25

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant (English/Spanish) to support a busy Human Resources team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with employees, supporting recruiting efforts, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting with daily HR administration.

The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, highly organized, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience from the first point of contact through onboarding and ongoing HR support.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support
  • Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support hiring managers and recruiters with administrative recruiting tasks.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate records.
Onboarding & New Hire Administration
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Prepare offer packets, onboarding documentation, and employee files.
  • Process I-9s, E-Verify, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Ensure all required onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new employees during the onboarding process.
HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records and HR files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Assist with employee data entry, reporting, audits, and HR documentation.
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with leave of absence documentation, personnel updates, and general HR transactions.
  • Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries to appropriate HR resources.
  • Support HR projects and other administrative functions as assigned.
Qualifications

Required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak).
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative, or Office Support experience.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee records, or HR administration.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, onboarding systems, or payroll platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or warehouse environments.
