Locum Tenens PA - Occupational Medicine Job in TX

Our organization offers a variety of locum assignments that can range from a single day to several years. Some positions may require travel, while others are conveniently located nearby. • Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, two days a week
• Patient Load: 10 to 15 patients daily
• Focus: Outpatient occupational medicine, including work-related injuries and physical examinations
• Patient Demographic: Adults only (18 years and older)
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct DOT examinations as a primary focus for the Physician Assistant
  • Manage workers' compensation cases, substance abuse assessments, and respirator testing
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and conduct certification examinations
• Additional Duties: Provide coverage for leave and vacation
