Position Overview:

  • Location: Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine of Erie-UPMC and UPMC Hamot
  • Addresses: 100 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16507 and 201 State Street, Erie, PA 16550
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • On-Call Requirement: 1:5 with trauma call necessary
  • Visa Sponsorship: H-1B candidates are welcome

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
  • Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
  • Completion of an accredited Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program
    • Open to recent fellowship-trained surgeons
    • Fellowship is preferred but not mandatory
  • American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials
  • DEA certification required
