We are excited to announce an opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to become a part of our clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. We particularly encourage candidates who are fluent in Spanish to apply.

Position Overview

Your surgical practice will primarily take place at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH), a community teaching hospital with 312 beds, located in Queens, NY. LIJFH offers a range of services including inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women’s health. The facility is recognized as a Level II Perinatal Center, serves as a 911 receiving site, and is designated as a certified heart station and a New York state Stroke Center. Additionally, our Orthopedic Department has received advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time clinical base compensation for this position ranges from $125K to $750K, influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity.
