Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist to manage a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy in a single-pharmacist setting. The role requires a high level of autonomy as there is no pharmacy technician support. The position offers comprehensive training alongside the current Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for two weeks before transitioning fully to the Winter Haven location.

Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Duration:
- 16-week contract, starting 8/24
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense 20-30 prescriptions daily independently without technician support
- Provide exceptional patient care with strong communication tailored to HIV/AIDS patients
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate medication management and support
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, vital for uninterrupted pharmacy operations
- Utilize pharmacy management software (QS1 preferred) to ensure accurate dispensing and record-keeping
- Adhere to high standards of professionalism and a positive attitude within the workplace
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida pharmacist license required
- Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience
- Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is essential and must be highlighted on the resume
- Proficiency with QS1 software preferred; candidates without experience will be asked during screening
- Ability to work independently in a single-pharmacist environment with no technician assistance
Additional Notes:
- No return to office (RTO) allowed during contract duration due to the single-pharmacist framework
- Ongoing training and support available after the initial two-week training period
