Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education (California certification preferred)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and relationship-building
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with a range of disabilities, modifying curriculum to meet individual needs
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure student success
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
