Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist in a dynamic, contract-based role located near Saint Paul, MN. Collaborate with diverse educational teams to help foster equitable access to academic, social, and emotional support. This opportunity offers flexibility, with options for full-time, part-time, or a hybrid in-person schedule. Typical hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and upon placement, candidates will be matched to suitable locations within the local area.
Qualifications:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent credentials
- Active school psychologist license issued by PELSB (Minnesota)
- Strong commitment to equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive practices
- Proficiency in implementing evidence-based interventions and assessments
- Thorough understanding of K-12 educational and mental health supports
Preferred Background:
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility for NCSP
- Experience providing consultation and intervention within MTSS frameworks
- Leadership skills to facilitate collaboration and support adult learners
- Familiarity with crisis intervention and mental health support procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal/state special education law and compliance
- Prior work in diverse, urban, or multicultural educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, consultations, and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and participate in school or district initiatives focused on equity and inclusion
- Contribute to crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with all relevant regulations
