Job Description

Join TeamHealth's growing post-acute care team in the Rutherfordton, North Carolina, area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide quality, compassionate care as a cardiology advanced practice clinician full time (5 days/week) rounding at our skilled nursing facility partners.

\n You will be responsible for cardiology consults for adults in skilled nursing facilities Monday through Friday. No after-hours or weekend call is associated with this position.

\n We ask that candidates have a current North Carolina nurse practitioner or physician assistant license and DEA. Preferred candidates have two years of cardiology experience.

\n This is a full-time, benefits eligible position; expected compensation is estimated range of $143,452 - $170,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.

  • Cardiac consulting and follow-up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities

  • Analyze pathophysiology for cardiovascular disease processes

  • Interpret stress and EKG tests
    • \n
  • Order and interpret lab results

  • Prescribe and monitor medications
    • \n
  • Manage patients with cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Current NP or PA North Carolina license and DEA
    • \n
  • 2 years of experience in cardiology as APC
    • \n
  • Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
    • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • \n
