Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Ability to secure or willingness to obtain NM RLD licensure and NMPED licensure
- Educational experience is preferred, but not a requirement
- Previous school-based or healthcare OT experience highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Commitment to student growth and well-being
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services for elementary and secondary students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
