This position focuses on delivering comprehensive OT services to school-aged children, enhancing their fine and gross motor skills and supporting their success both in school and, when needed, in home environments.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students reach their fullest potential. The ideal candidate is experienced in school-based OT, has a background in healthcare or home health settings, and is comfortable delivering therapy tailored to individual educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license
• Prior experience working in school, healthcare, or home health environments strongly preferred
• Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Strong skills in supporting fine and gross motor development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Knowledgeable about best practices in school-based occupational therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students' motor skill development and functional abilities
• Develop and implement targeted interventions to promote independence and participation
• Work closely with IEP teams to provide input and write relevant goals
• Collaborate with teachers to support classroom modifications
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Provide therapy sessions both within schools and, when indicated, in home environments
