School-Based Physical Therapist - Norristown, PA

Desired Background:

• Active PT license and current PT certification required
• Experience or strong interest in working within elementary and middle school settings (K-8)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to provide creative, adaptive therapy in a supportive school setting
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to K-8 students as prescribed in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs and address therapy goals
• Document student performance, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Assist in adapting the classroom or learning environment to reduce barriers to student success
