Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific or ability to obtain)
  • Experience with K-8 populations, specifically 2nd and 3rd grade
  • Proven ability to address effective needs, supporting individualized learning for students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work full-time with a caseload of 4 students with effective needs in 2nd and 3rd grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with general educators, parents, and school support teams
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies tailored to individual student requirements
