Inpatient Pediatric Pharmacist | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

An opportunity is available for inpatient pharmacists with pediatric and NICU experience to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. This 13-week contract position offers two distinct shifts at a well-regarded children's hospital between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Location:

• Fort Lauderdale, FL (near Hollywood, FL)

Schedule:

• Position 1: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (5 days of 8-hour shifts)
• Position 2: Overnight 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (5 days of 8-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services with an emphasis on pediatric dosing and care
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use within the pediatric and NICU patient populations
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for accurate documentation and medication management
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and Florida licensure requirements

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in inpatient pharmacy, with a strong preference for previous pediatric and NICU clinical expertise
• Proficient in inpatient pharmaceutical care and pediatric dosing protocols
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is required
