This full-time assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, serving K-12 learners at an assigned campus in the vibrant area near Burleson, TX. Play an instrumental role in helping students develop essential communication skills in a collaborative school setting.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current, active Texas SLPA license required
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Comfortable working with a caseload of approximately 60–65 K-12 students
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued
  • Must complete or verify fingerprints through TEA (allow up to 10 business days)
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educational teams and communicate clearly with students and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging speech and language interventions under the supervision of an SLP
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy to support students’ communication goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Work effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic care
  • Adapt services as needed for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that benefits all students
