Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- REQUIRED: Active Louisiana DOE Certification
- Experience in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of psychological assessments and crisis intervention strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Successful completion of district-specific background checks, drug screening, and fingerprinting prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families on interventions
- Assist in implementing behavioral management strategies
- Deliver crisis response and intervention services when necessary
- Document findings and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with district standards
