Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist / Physician
Job Description
Location: Lakewood, NJ | Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Program: Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health
Hybrid Option: Available with 2-3 days per week on-site.
We are seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist / Physician to provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for patients ages 5-21.
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred
Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license
Current DEA registration
Direct clinical experience treating children and adolescents is required
Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology
Experience with medication management, behavioral/emotional disorders, risk assessment, family engagement, and trauma-informed care
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Experience with co-occurring substance use disorders preferred
