\nPosition Overview
\nCleveland Clinic Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicine to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-acuity critical care within a collaborative academic environment.
\nThe physician will provide care for post-operative and critically ill surgical patients, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, residents, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive critical care management for SICU patients \n
- Provide perioperative and post-operative critical care support \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts \n
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers (if applicable) \n
- Participate in call coverage as assigned \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- MD or DO \n
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine \n
- Eligible for or licensed to practice in the state of Florida \n
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care \n
- Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or clinical research preferred \n
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in perioperative management for solid organ transplantation or neurocritical care \n
