Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and NP or PA to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team. We serve a diverse community of patientsfrom newborns through adulthoodproviding comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and long-term relationships.

Position Highlights:

    \n
  • Patient Population: Newborns to 21+
  • \n
  • Average Patients/Day: 1822
  • \n
  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM5:00 PM
  • \n
  • Call: Shared among 10+ providers (weekday 5p7a; weekend Friday 5pSunday 6p)
  • \n
      \n
    • Call limited to urgent adult issues only
    • \n
    • No medication refills or controlled substances management
    • \n
    • Average 110 calls per shift
    • \n
    \n
  • Virtual Health: Optional MyChart virtual visits for routine, follow-up, and acute care
  • \n
\n


\n Clinical Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Provide full-spectrum primary care, including routine, acute, and wellness visits
  • \n
  • Manage chronic diseases and coordinate care with specialists
  • \n
  • Perform in-office procedures such as:
  • \n
      \n
    • Cryotherapy, incision & drainage, wound suturing, and management
    • \n
    • Optional: Pap smears/pelvic exams, punch biopsies, intra-articular injections
    • \n
    \n
  • Supported by a dedicated team of CMA/LPNs (1:2 support ratio)
  • \n
\n


\n Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Education: Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP)
  • \n
  • Licensure: NP license in Virginia (or eligibility)
  • \n
  • Certification: Current BLS required
  • \n
  • Experience: New graduates welcome; experienced providers preferred
  • \n
