Spa Esthetician - Facials, Waxing & Body Treatments

Responsible for providing exceptional Guest Service while administering professional facials, waxing services and an array of body treatments; Must have thorough knowledge of the skin and have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques as well as possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation practices.\n

Responsibilities : \n
\n

\n
• Provide consistent and professional facial and body treatments in accordance with Tenaya Stone Spa protocols and accepted certification practices
\n
• Ability to effectively perform all spa treatments and services as defined by the position being performed
\n
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effective
\n
• Must uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and Tenaya Stone Spa’s policies and procedure
\n
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
\n
• Actively promote spa, treatments, services, merchandise, and programs while meeting goals
\n
• Handle Guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously
\n
• Provide courteous, accurate, and prompt responses to Guests’ requests to ensure Guest satisfaction
\n
• Attend mandatory training to maintain knowledge of current spa policies, procedures, and trends
\n
• Must be able to perform all esthetic treatments offered by Resort spa
\n
• Additional leadership opportunities may be available that would require completion of an additional practical assessment
\n

Basic Qualifications : \n
\n

\n
• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
\n
• Must currently hold and maintain state Esthetician license (with State of California)
\n
• Previous experience in a spa or hotel environment
\n
• Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently, while confidently utilizing service recovery methods
\n
• Possess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating Guests
\n
• Strong verbal communication skills
\n
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skills
\n
• Receptive to special requests and proactive in anticipating Guests needs
\n
• Knowledgeable about The Disneyland® Resort and surrounding area
\n

Preferred Qualifications: \n
\n

• Previous leadership experience in a spa environment
\n
• Basic computer knowledge
\n

\nOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Casual Regular Cast Members must be available to work Friday evenings/Saturday/Sundays and all peak seasons, as well as available to work all holidays.\n

The pay rate for this role in California is $21.13 per hour, plus commission and gratuities.
