We offer comprehensive care for men, women, and adolescents at all recovery stages, ranging from 24-hour inpatient monitoring to various residential, transitional, and outpatient programs.

We are currently looking for a full-time Nurse Manager to oversee our Nursing team. The work schedule consists of three days a week, including two shifts on the floor and one administrative shift.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train qualified nursing staff.
• Oversee and assess all aspects of medication management within the facility.
• Engage with clients as necessary to ensure optimal care and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with relevant external treatment professionals in accordance with MNA processes.
• Ensure smooth admission and discharge processes to maintain continuity of care regarding nursing and medical issues.
• Manage the nursing schedule to meet facility and organizational needs, including handling vacation requests, sick leave, and staffing requirements.
• Facilitate performance evaluations for direct reports and implement merit increases as approved by the Clinical Director.
• Maintain detailed communication regarding all current clients.
• Ensure quality nursing documentation is completed for each patient during every shift.
• Organize and facilitate laboratory work as per provider orders.
• Complete admission nursing assessments and care plans for each client according to program policy.
• Uphold confidentiality of protected health information.
• Provide ongoing training for existing nursing staff as needed.
• Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other disciplines involved in patient care.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify that provider orders for admission are present upon client entry into the program.
• Organize and document required monthly nursing meetings and other necessary gatherings.
• Oversee the maintenance of nursing-related spaces and equipment.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation for each client, including daily shift notes, weekly updates, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Review and document employee performance at 90 days post-hire, annually, and as needed per company policy.
• Manage performance improvement and disciplinary actions as necessary, documenting as required.
• Attend and present relevant nursing information in weekly staffing meetings for all clients.
• Coordinate with providers to maintain necessary communication and documentation regarding client care.
• Oversee the facility’s infection control and prevention program.
• Ensure designated on-call nursing staff are always available.
• Respond to facility-related calls and cover shifts when all other staffing options have been exhausted.
• Participate in monthly Nursing Leadership meetings and additional meetings as needed.
• Assist with insurance-related issues as directed by the Vice President of Nursing Operations or their designee.
• Ensure all admission requirements are completed in accordance with organizational policy.
• Oversee the proper destruction or return of medications per policy and regulatory standards.
• Maintain adequate inventory and supply of nursing-related items within the monthly operational budget.
• Assist with additional program needs as requested by the Vice President of Nursing Operations or Clinical Director.
• Seek opportunities for self-improvement to enhance the quality of client care.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies.
• In emergencies, may be required to remain onsite as part of the emergency response team until the situation is resolved.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and refer legal or ethical issues in client care to the Clinical Director or Director of Compliance.

• BSN from an accredited nursing school and current RN licensure.
• At least two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital setting focused on eating disorders.
• Strong communication, patient relations, and time management skills; safety awareness; and the ability to collaborate effectively within a treatment team.
