  • Shift: Full-time Day Shift
  • Sign-On Bonus: Enhanced $20,000 (distributed in two payments over a two-year agreement)
About Our Facility

Our facility features a 28-bed post-surgical unit focused on medical-surgical care with telemetry, and we are expanding to better serve the communities of Hiram, Dallas, Powder Springs, Douglasville, Marietta, Villa Rica, Rockmart, and surrounding areas.

Role Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse plays a vital role as part of an interdisciplinary team, which includes both licensed and unlicensed caregivers. This team is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality, and safe patient care to patients, families, and significant others. The clinical environment is overseen by Nurse Managers and other leaders, supported by our Shared Governance Model. RN competencies are aligned with these models and reflect our organizational values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care based on evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver patient-centered care that is tailored to specific population characteristics, such as age, gender, and health conditions, while respecting cultural diversity.
  • Conduct bedside shift reports to keep patients and their families informed, ensuring that patient goals are central to the care plan.
  • Coordinate and document the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, fostering teamwork and collaboration within the healthcare team.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives, research, and the utilization of findings to enhance patient care quality.
  • Act as a preceptor or mentor for fellow nurses and other healthcare staff, promoting a qualified workforce and a positive work environment.
  • Encourage evidence-based practices and participate in value analysis to assess patient care products.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, ensuring compliance with legal and accreditation standards.
  • Contribute to data collection and formulate relevant clinical questions to advance evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with care managers and team members to develop protocols and procedures aimed at achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Follow all organizational policies, standards of work, and the code of conduct.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Current RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact).
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; basic computer skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with composure and respect.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice nursing using evidence-based and analytical skills, along with strong critical thinking capabilities.
