Commercial Apprentice Electrician

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring an experienced Commercial Apprentice Electrician for ongoing commercial electrical work in Beachwood, Ohio. We are looking for a dependable apprentice with solid hands-on commercial experience who can work alongside journeyman electricians while completing tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT conduit
\n
• Pull and route electrical wire and cable
\n
• Install electrical boxes, devices, switches, receptacles, and fixtures
\n
• Assist with installation of panels and electrical equipment
\n
• Make basic electrical terminations
\n
• Measure, cut, and install conduit accurately
\n
• Read and follow electrical blueprints and drawings
\n
• Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations
\n
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
\n
• Work from ladders and aerial lifts as needed
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
\n
• Follow NEC requirements and jobsite safety procedures
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 2+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
\n
• Previous experience working on commercial construction projects
\n
• Ability to bend and install EMT conduit
\n
• Experience pulling wire and installing electrical devices
\n
• Basic ability to read electrical prints and blueprints
\n
• Familiarity with commercial electrical tools and materials
\n
• Must have basic electrical hand tools
\n
• Must have standard PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest/shirt, and work boots
\n
• OSHA 10 preferred
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
\n
• Dependable and able to report to work consistently
\n

Compensation

$28.00$30.00 per hour, based on commercial electrical experience and skill level.
