The Opportunity

AsManaging Veterinarian, you’ll continue doing what you love most: practicingveterinary medicine and building meaningful relationships with patients andclients. In addition, you’ll play a key leadership role by guiding medicalstandards, mentoring veterinarians, and fostering a culture where both peopleand pets thrive.

JobDuties:

  • Provide medical leadership and oversight of the veterinary team
    • \n
  • Develop and uphold medical protocols and best practices
    • \n
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of care
    • \n
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire veterinarians and support staff
    • \n
  • Partner closely with the Hospital Manager on budgeting, financial performance, and operational improvements
    • \n
\n

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
    • \n
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional, evidence-based veterinary medicine
    • \n
  • Proven ability to lead, delegate, and develop high-performing teams
    • \n
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
    • \n
\n

Compensation

  • Base salary: $130,000–$175,000, commensurate with experience
    • \n
  • Additional production-based bonuses

*Relocation benefits are offered at NVA GP’s discretionand are available only for approved Managing Veterinarian roles within thefollowing states: OH, WV, PA, MD, NJ, NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, ME. Eligibilityis dependent on distance moved, business need, and final approval from TalentAcquisition. Payment amounts and criteria may vary by role and are subject tochange at any time.

Relocation benefits are not available for local moves(e.g., short-distance moves within the same metro area). NVA GP reserves theright to determine whether a move qualifies as “relocation” based on mileagethresholds, candidate address, and business rationale.
