This contract Physical Therapy opportunity near Snohomish, WA offers the chance to collaborate closely with educational teams while supporting students’ motor and physical development in a supportive environment. The position runs from September 2, 2026, through June 15, 2027, at a single campus housing five schools, enabling you to truly get to know your students and colleagues.
Your flexible 16-hour work week makes it easy to balance professional and personal commitments, while you conduct assessments, develop therapy schedules, and deliver direct, indirect, and consultative PT services based on student needs. Your expertise will directly inform IEPs and 504 Plans, and you’ll coordinate with educators to craft the best strategies for student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Washington State ESA certificate as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility for certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of current PT best practices and evidence-based interventions
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 Plan development and implementation
- Preferred: Experience in multicultural or multilingual school settings, public school operations, and prior teaching experience
- Valid Washington driver’s license is preferred
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and support students’ motor and physical progress across PreK-12 caseload
- Provide direct, indirect, and consultative PT services as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support student learning outcomes
- Participate in planning and progress meetings with school staff and families
